The front flap opens to write a little note, but then it opens as a regular card also. The scalloped square, buttons, and patterned paper are all from the set. The ribbon is from the dollar bin at Target. I ran a little bit of the patterned paper through the Cuttlebug. It's amazing how much it changes the look of patterned paper!
