Advent idea

I think I may have found this idea in an old Family Fun magazine, but I can't remember for sure. It was ages ago.  I've made several over the years as gifts or to sell. Each drawer includes a little trinket about the Bible story (dove, cross, star, etc...that relates to Bible verses), and I try to include as many pieces as possible to complete a small Nativity set by the 24th. Love doing it this way.
This is a tool organizer that just happens to have 24 drawers. I found it at Harbor Freight (also years ago) full of goodies. The Nativity sets came from Mexico...always something I asked Mom and Dad to look for when they would go. They're just tiny enough to fit in the drawers.

Dad's Day...no joke

I saw a card like this using an online SVG. I have never been able to connect my cricut online (or be able to afford another machine), and I LOVED the card, so I had my daughter draw me the mask outline and I fussy cut it out...twice.  Yes, I made two of them since I liked it so much.  The black and white background paper is off of a See's candy box...like it too! It has a glossy finish.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I think my dad is going to like it.

Graduate

This isn't the best picture, but I sure like how it turned out. I embossed with a Spellbinders embossing folder and darkened the footprints with distress ink. Just love it.  It's perfect for the young man that is making tracks!

Welcome Baby!

Welcome Baby! I just made this card for my new grandson.  The color isn't quite right, but I couldn't figure out how to edit it properly. There's more green instead of tan.  But it turned out really cute. Papertrey rocket onto glitter paper and pieced together. Memory Box clouds and banner.

You're Out of This World!

I love how this turned out.  I used the Papertrey Rocket die and matching stamps. And My Favorite Things star die cuts.  It is colored with distress inks and a water blender. The "moon" paper in the background is grey ink on grey paper.  It's slightly brighter in person.

A few new cards

I love this one. I'm on a mint/blue kick right now and just love it.

I had to try my hand at the chalkboard technique. I think I need more practice, but the recipient will appreciate it anyway. It is fun!

Love this one too. New embossing folder from Spellbinders...homemade pin. It looks better in person too. Glitter on some of the snowflakes and embossed sentiment. I really like this one too!
