Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

Christmas is my most favorite time of the year. Love it...love listening to Christmas carols ALL year long. So, it's no wonder I enjoy making Christmas cards. Now...getting them sent is another thing altogether...but I do like making them. This stamp is from a $1 Studio G set. I had to have it. I only used the triangle part...not the trunk, as it is just a line. I got out a bunch of my green patterned scraps and went to town! Love things like this because I can take things to cut with me to volleyball games or when I'm just waiting to chauffeur I can sit and cut. I have medium greens, gray-greens, bright greens...love them all! The sentiment is from a different $1 Studio G set...absolutely love it too. I embossed the rectangles with a Spellbinders that I borrowed ages ago from a dear, dear, dear friend (Phyllis, are you reading this?) I definitely think it adds an elegant touch.

Gorgeous poinsettia

This is a Dream Impressions stamp that I bought used. I love it. It's really just a six petal flower, so I added and layered. I used some water color crayons, mostly to try them out, and I was impressed. The crayons are neocolor II. I bought only a red, green, and yellow crayon so I could try them out.
I love how the little light green bling matches the green in the card.

Cheer!

"To Cheer You" I thought such a fitting phrase for these adorable birds! These are Inkadinkado and SO much fun! The paper is from a set at Target. The sentiment is computer generated. I cut out some extra leaves from the paper and put them on pop dots just to add some dimension and put the sentiment up on dots as well. I love how cheery it is! I added one little gem for the flower center.

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat!

Oh how I love Christmas! My children are getting so tired of my Christmas music in the pickup...but I just can't get enough. My youngest daughter thought I needed to get this stamp (it's Impression Obsession)...and I must admit, I LOVE it! And I love, love, love this card!

The pp is from Target and Frantic Stamper. I crinkled and sponged the Target background paper. The sentiment is computer generated...but I know that "warm" goes well with coffee! What could be better...coffee and Christmas!

I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits. The stars are gold, though it's hard to tell. It's prettier in person.

The red gems added the perfect touch! There are two different sizes and slightly different colors. Mmmm...I need more red bling so I can case my own card!!

Caramel apples...Mmmmmm!

I love caramel apples...but I don't like making the real thing so much. I opted for paper ones and I love how they turned out! I have a large Marvy apple punch...how perfect! It made for a fairly easy card. I sponged the apples and caramel just a bit for depth, added some rafia ribbon, some mini popsicle sticks, and a $1 stamp "bushels of blessings" that I thought fit it perfectly.
