What a wonderful weekend! We headed out on a fairly "spur of the moment" overnight camping trip with our trailer. We threw in clothes, I grabbed some food, and away we went. I didn't pack enough food...and I left my wallet home! What an adventure. We managed to gather $2.70...it was enough to buy a package of hot dogs at the little corner grocery so that we could roast hot dogs over the campfire. Wood...that was another thing. They wanted $8 for a box of wood. Oh well...I figured we'd go without. But we had a visitor who noticed our plight and she brought us wood! Then, the neighbor, the camper next to us, offered up marshmallows! Could it really get any better than that? We had two giving people and we have sweet memories...and a full tummy!
While there, I got my card made for Lilybean's Paperie challenge. I had a great time making it and I really like the way it turned out! The requirements were heart, button, chipboard, polka dots and ribbon with a "friend" theme. Here it is:
