Coffee and Friends...

Is there anything better than coffee and friends? I made this simple one for a friend. LOVE this set from MFT. I used another one of my little curled flowers, eyelets, my crop-o-dile, some prismacolor pencils, and scraps of paper that I won! Cool beans...coffee beans, that is!

The dolls must be hungry!

Shall we start with breakfast? How about some Cheerios? I thought these turned out really well, but let me say...these were labor intensive!!! It seemed as though I made hundreds and hundreds (I made two bowls of Cheerios), but when they were all bunched together, it was such a tiny amount.

I rolled sculpey around a toothpick and then sliced the little rounds, flattened, then tried gluing them in such a way that they might look real.

How about doughnuts for breakfast? Or would you prefer poptarts?

Then shall we try some lunch? How about tacos or quesadillas?

Shall we jump right to the desserts now? Candy first or cakes? Okay...how about some peanut butter cups. I think somebody took a bite before lunch!

Or maybe you'd prefer a plain chocolate bar?

Or maybe a Hostess cupcake? Or even a big wedge of chocolate cake or white cake? If you go with that, you'll have to try some ice cream too!

Happy Birdie cards...

I love, love, love this birthday chick! It's from a dollar stamp set and colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits. The "happy birdie to you" is a stamp from Just Johanna. Love those too! I used paper scraps for everything! The "happy birthday" little stamp is also from a $1 set and I colored that in with my colored pencils as well.

Graduate...

I like how this turned out! I handcut the graduation cap and thought about making a tassle with thread, but that idea soon disappeared! I found the cutest "GRAD" paper clip at our local dollar store, so I had to use that. I cut the 2008 with the Cuttlebug...and made the "congratulations" with little individual stamps. I even used my handmade stamp-a-ma-jig to line them up. I think I'm getting the hang of it. The reflective red strip is me trying to recycle...I think it's metallic tissue paper. Our colors are red and black and the gal that got this one said, "It was my favorite card...I'm not even making it up!" I had to laugh at that!

My SheetLoad cards...

These two are featured in the June SheetLoad of Cards issue! I love the way they turned out and I really like this sketch!! It was so fun to dig through my stash of dollar stamps (I really like dollar stamps!) I used SEI paper (garage sale find) and another rolled flower. Then I cut out about five hand drawn clouds out of cardstock, glued them together, inked the sides...and viola...my own chipboard cloud for the rocket card.

June SheetLoad is ready!!!

The June Issue of SheetLoad of Cards is ready!! This month we used those dollar stamps that we all (at least I do) have lots and lots and lots of! What fun! The ladies did a super job...go check it out!
