Grandbaby's 1st birthday...

So, so cute...adorable baby. I added the brown dots to the patterned paper to give it the look we were trying for. Isn't she just gorgeous...but wait, there's more...bwah ha ha ha ha ha ha...isn't this just so sad it's cute?!?! I used the expression for the little flower embellie. I don't know if I can make a card without including something from the cricut these days. I made 15 of these cards.

Another Cricut one...

I made this one for my friend, Phyllis. She got me a toy that I had at the top of my wish list...the brad maker! (I used that for the "o") The rest is done with the Expression. LOVE that flourish...and the gorgeous design behind the letters too. It is just too much fun playing with it!!!

Cricut experimenting...

Yep...I had a birthday and I got an Expression. I waited and waited...finally took the plunge and I've been playing a little bit here and there. Kraft is my favorite paper, so I had to use it! "love" this one...tee hee. I ran my cuts through the xyron and then traced around them with a white gel pen.

Thinking of you...

I love kraft cardstock with almost anyother color! And I love teal too! And together...they're dreamy! I had to play with a couple of new punches as well. MS leafy heart and the border punch.

Thanks...you rock!

This is a thank you card for my friend, Phyllis. I've always heard "better late than never" so that seems to be what I stick with. She gave me the adorable CTMH stamps set that I'd been drooling over. I LOVE it! The "you rock" is from a $1 stamp from Michael's. It used to have a little globe on it that was "you rock my world", but I thought I could use it much more the way I used it so I cut it apart. I thought the dotted paper was perfect for "disco lights". The disco ball is an embossed brad. It's very sparkly in person.

I did it! I did it! I did it!

Yep...can't believe it myself, but I got ALL 12 tags done. I feel a bit accomplished!

Merry Christmas!

Here it is already the eve of Christmas. This year has gone by SO very quickly. I remember thinking I would get my cards made ahead of time and it seems like that wasn't very long ago...it went by too quickly for me! I didn't manage to get many made and didn't get any sent...yet. I'm thinking maybe I'll go for New Year's cards or Valentine's cards! Eeeegads!!!
This is another SheetLoad card I made for December. If you haven't checked it out...hurry! This is the last issue and it's a goodie!! I used some alcohol inks to color the holly and berries. I used Prismacolor pencils...and they're not really washed out like in the photo. It's much better in person.
I hope everybody has a blessed Christmas...and be so thankful that we are celebrating the birth of Christ.
